49er Sailing

The 49er is a two-person skiff known as the male Olympic class boat. On the boat, both the skipper and crew trapeze, making the boat more unsteady and technical, requiring hundreds of hours to master. Inspired to pursue the Olympic dream, my brother and I started training in the 49er and 49er FX in the summer of 2024. We are looking forward to trying out for Los Angeles 2028 and Brisbane, Australia 2032. Because of my performance in the junior class, 29er, we were invited by the U.S. Olympic Development Program to train camps with previous and current Olympians to learn new skills to get to the next level. I am proud to have this opportunity and have embraced as much knowledge and experience as possible through this journey.
